    The 2026 Fair Housing Seminar is scheduled for Friday, April 24, 2026 at the OCCK, Inc., 1710 Schilling Rd. Registration fee of $30, lunch will be provided.

    The City of Salina will host its second Accessibility Seminar on Thursday, October 16, 2025 from 12:30 pm to 4:30 pm at the SACC Visit OCCK, Inc., 1710 W. Schilling. 

    This free event is sponsored by OCCK. 

    The seminar is a half-day educational opportunity for local businesses to understand accessibility issues that individuals face and how to make their businesses more accessible. Guest speakers include: Karen Chapman of KSDS Assistance Dogs, Inc.; and Craig Knutson of Kansas Commission on Disability Concerns. The seminar will also have an Employment Assistance Panel featuring community agencies focusing on opportunities, challenges, and success stories for people with disabilities in the work place.

    For needed accommodations, please call the Community Relations Division between the hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm. Every effort will be made to accommodate known disabilities with at least 5 business day notice of needed accommodations prior to the event.
