Beginning at 12:01 a.m. on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, Magnolia Road will be temporarily closed to traffic for paving as part of the Magnolia Road improvement project.
The work will take place in three (3) Phases:
Phase 1: Magnolia Road will be closed from the I-135 ramps west to Virginia Drive. Virginia Drive will remain open, and traffic will still be able to travel west to Centennial Road.
Phase 2: Magnolia Road will be closed west of Virginia Drive. Westbound traffic from Virginia Drive and eastbound traffic on Magnolia Road may detour through the American Ag Credit Bank parking lot. The section closed during Phase 1 will reopen when Phase 2 begins.
Phase 3: All of Magnolia Road will reopen. Paving work will continue, but it will be off Magnolia Road.
Magnolia Road is expected to reopen after 7:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 15th. Virginia Dr will remain open throughout all phases.
