Beginning Wednesday, July 8th, Traffic Management KS of Holton, Kansas, will refresh pavement markings on 9th Street from Riffel Drive to Market Place. Crews will be working for approximately three days, weather permitting.
Crews will use grinding and painting equipment with mobile traffic control to apply the new markings. Drivers are advised to stay clear of the equipment, avoid driving over freshly painted lines, and use alternate routes when possible to help ensure the safety of both workers and motorists.
The $100,000 project is part of the City of Salina's $5.9 million 2026 maintenance capital improvement program.
