Beginning Monday, June 9th at 8:00 PM, Heartland Traffic Services of Kansas City, Kansas, will refresh pavement markings at key intersections along Ohio Street, Magnolia Road, and 9th Street. Crews will work overnight from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM for approximately one week, weather permitting.
Crews will use painting equipment with mobile traffic control to apply the new markings. Drivers are advised to stay clear of the equipment, avoid driving over freshly painted lines, and use alternate routes when possible to help ensure the safety of both workers and motorists.
The $97,000 project is part of the City of Salina's $5.9 million 2025 maintenance capital improvement program.
