Beginning Wednesday, July 8, 2026, the City of Salina Utilities Department will perform utility line repairs on N. Santa Fe Avenue between Pine Street and Elm Street. This section of roadway will be closed to through traffic during construction.
The work is expected to take three to four weeks to complete, weather permitting.
Traffic control barriers will be in place to protect workers and the public. Motorists should follow the posted detour to 9th Street and are encouraged to avoid the work zone when possible.
