Kenwood Cove Aquatic Park is excited for the 2024 season. We will open for the first public swim on Monday, May 27, 2024, at 12:30 pm.
The Public swim hours will be Mondays through Saturdays, 12:30 pm to 7:00 pm, and Sundays, 12:30 pm to 6:00 pm.
Aquatic Exercise will start on Tuesday, May 28th. Hours for Aquatic exercise will run Mondays through Fridays from 8:00 am to 11:00 am and 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm and Saturday mornings from 9:00 am to 11:00 am.
The last day of public swim will be on Sunday August 11th. The Annual Pooch Plunge will be on Monday August 12th from 5pm to 8pm.

Know Before Your Visit

General Rules:
- No patron may enter the water until there are lifeguards on duty.
- Children under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult at least 16 years of age or older to enter the facility.
- Pets are not allowed to enter the waterpark.
- Coolers, jugs, food, or drinks may not be brought into the facility. Unopened plastic water bottles are permitted. Tumblers and other reusable cups and bottles are not allowed.
- Paper or cloth diapers are prohibited in the pool. Swim diapers are available for purchase at the Kenwood Cove front desk. Diapers must be changed at the diaper changing stations in the locker rooms or restrooms.
- Floatation devices and water toys (i.e. balls, life-belts, inner tubes, squirt guns, rafts, etc.) are subject to the approval of the pool staff. All personal floatation devices must be Coast Guard approved and are not allowed to be worn on any feature. Arm floaties are not allowed!
- Patrons are not allowed to carry other patrons on their back in the water or on land.
Diving Board Rules:
- T-shirts of any kind, goggles, masks or floatation devices are not to be worn while using the diving boards.
- Divers must jump or dive straight off board (no back dives, back flips or back jumps etc.).
- Patrons are not allowed to swim in the diving well even if the diving boards are not in use.
Lazy River Rules:
- Please enter and exit the lazy river only at designated areas.
- Patrons head’s must remain above the water at all times.
- No touching or hanging on the lazy river features.
- River depth is 42 inches.
Zoom Flume Raging River Slide Rules:
- Minimum height requirement is 48 inches tall. Slide exits into 42 inches of water.
- Maximum rider weight is 220 pounds.
- No mats or life jackets are permitted on the waterslide.
- No running, standing, kneeling, rotation, tumbling or stopping in the flume. Arms and hands must remain inside the flume at all times. Riders should remain in proper riding position until forward movement is terminated. At no time should the rider attempt to stand up while on the slide or prior to coming to a complete stop in the splash out area.
Body Slide Rules (Blue Cyclone & Purple Twister)
- All riders must be at least 48 inches tall. Slide exits into 42 inches of water.
- Maximum rider weight is 300 pounds.
- Non-swimmers are not permitted.
- All riders must ride feet first while lying on their back with arms crossed across their chest. Do not go down the slide head first. Do not sit up while riding the slide.
- No tubes, mats, or life jackets are permitted on the waterslide.
Inner Tube Slide Rules (Green Monster & Funderstorm):
- All riders must be at least 48 inches tall. Slide exits into 42 inches of water.
- Maximum operational load for single tube - 1 person, 300 pounds.
- Maximum operational load for double tube - 2 persons, 600 pounds. The heavier rider should sit behind the lighter rider.
- Non-swimmers are not permitted.
- No mats or life jackets are permitted on the water slide.
Tsunami Swirl Slide Rules:
- This is a thrill ride not intended for all individuals.
- All riders must be at least 48 inches tall. Slide exits into 96 inches (8 feet) of water.
- Maximum rider weight is 300 pounds.
- Non-swimmers are not permitted.
- All riders must ride feet first with ankles crossed while lying on their back with their hands crossed across their chest. Do not go down the slide head first. Do not sit up or stand up while riding the slide.
- No tubes, mats, or life jackets are permitted on the water slide.
Family Fun Slide Rules:
- All riders on this slide must be supervised by a parent or other responsible adult.
- Minimum ride height 36 inches tall. Slide exits into 42 inches of water.
- Maximum rider weight is 200 pounds for a single rider.
- No more than three riders at a time permitted. Riders are to sit side by side only and not in front of the other.
- Non-swimmers are not permitted.
- Riders may lie on their back feet first with arms crossed or ride sitting up feet first with their hands at their sides. Do not go down the slide head first. Do not sit up or stand up while riding the slide.
- No tubes or mats are permitted on the water slide.
- Coast Guard approved life jackets are allowed to be worn down the family fun slide.
- Parents may not catch children at bottom of slide. Only lifeguards are allowed to catch children off the family fun slide.
Catch Pool Rules:
- Guardians are not allowed to catch their children at the end of any slide.
Soggy Bottoms Kiddie Area Rules:
- A parent or adult must supervise children 8 years of age and under at all times.
- Slide one at a time in a forward seated position, feet first. For safety reasons please do not place children on laps when sliding. DO NOT slide headfirst.
- Slides are for going down only, no climbing up, or stopping.
- Parents or children over the age of 8 are not allowed to be on the kiddie pool slide feature due to weight limits.
Lily Pad Rules:
- Only one user at a time on the rope.
- Only one swimmer at a time in Lily Pad area.
- Use rope at all times.
- Floatation devices are not permitted.
Locker Rules:
- You may bring your own lock to put on a locker. Combination locks are available to purchase at the Kenwood Cove Front Desk.
Rock Wall Rules:
- Only one climber at a time.
- Only one swimmer at a time in the Drop Zone.
- Floatation devices are not permitted.
- Goggles are not permitted.
