The Topeka Capitol Building will soon house a mural celebrating Kansas women who worked to win the right to vote. Join Jeanne Klein, as she discusses the mural and shares about Laura Johns, Salina’s very own suffragist. Manhattan, KS, artist Phyllis Pease will also be here with the watercolor she created for the committee. Your gift helps pay for the mural. While donations are strongly encouraged, we hope you’ll attend either way. The League of Women Voters of Kansas will be on hand to accept donations.
Klein is an Associate Professor Emerita from the Department of Theatre and Dance at KU.
