Beginning Monday, August 24, 2026, Mies Construction will install traffic control and close Osage Ave south of Ponca Ave. Pavement will be removed to replace the water main south of the intersection. Access south to Osage Ave from Ponca Ave will be prohibited. Osage Ave will be closed to thru traffic north of Republic Ave. Residents will be provided access from Republic Ave. Work is expected to last two weeks and be completed by September 8, 2026, weather permitting.
Appropriate barriers will be in place to ensure the safety of workers. Motorists may encounter minor delays and are encouraged to avoid work zones when possible.
