SALINA, KS – The City of Salina will host its third annual Accessibility Seminar on Friday, October 16, 2026, from 9 am to 12 pm at OCCK, 1710 W. Schilling. The free event is sponsored by OCCK, Inc.
The seminar is a half-day educational opportunity to understand what accessibility issues individuals with disabilities encounter and what resources are available in the Salina area. Guest speakers include: Kip Elliot and Liz Hueben of the Disability Rights Center of Kansas; Sarah Giest of OCCK; and Kara Mannebach, of OCCK. The seminar will cover current topics in accessibility including practical tips on creating digitally accessible materials and avoiding scams.
