Building Advisory Board
- One (1) Electrical Contractor
- One (1) Realtor
- Two (2) Youth Members*
Business Improvement District Design Review
- One (1) Design Professional
- One (1) BID Business Owner
Community Art and Design Advisory Committee
- One (1) Practicing Artist
Heritage Commission
- One (1) Architect
- Two (2) Youth Members*
Library Board
Parks & Recreation Advisory Board
Planning Commission
- Two (2) Citizens-at-large
- One (1) Outside Representative (resident of Saline County, not City of Salina, but within 3 miles of Salina city limits)
- Two (2) Youth Members*
Solid Waste Management Committee
*The Youth on Board program allows for individuals between the ages of 15-20 attending a secondary or post-secondary school to serve on certain boards that are noted above for a one-year term.
If you are interested in serving the community by becoming a member of one of these boards, commissions or committees, you are asked to fill out an expression-of-interest (EOI) form. Please have EOIs submitted by 09/30/2026 for consideration of appointment in October.
