ORDINANCE NUMBER 22-11111

 

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SALINA CODE SECTION 42-348 PERTAINING TO CONDITIONAL USES IN THE I-1 INDUSTRIAL PARK DISTRICT AND REPEALING EXISTING SECTION 42-348.

 

BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of Salina, Kansas:

 

Section 1.  Amendment.  Section 42-348 of the Salina Code is amended to read as follows:

 

Sec. 42-348. - Conditional uses.

Conditional uses in the I-1 district are as follows:

(1) Automobile and truck washes;

(2) Automobile repair (no wrecking yard);

(3) Boat sales, rental and service;

(4) Building materials yard;

(5) Contractor's office and storage yard;

(6) Mini-warehouses;

(7) Pest control and exterminators;

(8) Plumbing shop;

(9) Recreational vehicle rental, sales and service;

(10) Truck sales and service;

(11) Truck terminals;

(12) Welding shop (no salvage yard).

Section 2.  Repealer.  Existing Salina Code Section 42-348 is repealed.

 

Section 3.  Effective.  This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption and publication once in the official city newspaper by the following summary:


Ordinance No. 22-11111 Summary

 

On May 2, 2022, the City Commission passed Ordinance No. 22-11111.  The Ordinance amends Salina Code Sec. 42-348 by adding truck sales and service to the list of conditional uses in the I-1 (Industrial Park) District and repeals the existing Section 42-348.  A complete copy of the Ordinance can be found at www.salina-ks.gov or in the office of the City Clerk, 300 W.
