10/26/2018 - Fresh Poinsettias & Wreaths Bring Holiday Cheer

As the holiday season approaches, take advantage of the cheer that the Friends of the Smoky Hill Museum's colorful, fresh poinsettias and wreaths bring. The Museum's poinsettias are the most beautiful, nursery-quality blooming plants available in the area - in five vibrant colors. The flowering plants will brighten your home, office or church, cheer up loved ones and reduce holiday street. Also available for pre-order are fresh-smelling greenery wreaths made locally at BEL Tree Farm, now owned by Aaron and Michelle Peck and family.

Score big points with family and friends by giving one or more gorgeous poinsettias as a holiday, housewarming or "just because" gift. The lush, 15 to 18-inch Small plants are $14 each. The luxurious, 24-inch Medium plants are $29. Both options are multi-stem florals with bright blooms available in red, pink, white, burgundy, and the newer Jingle Bell striped flower. Also available is the stunning 36-inch Large poinsettia, available in Christmas red only for $40. The fresh greenery wreaths are available in three sizes, priced from $30 to $45 and come with a red bow attached. A new 12" Memorial Wreath and stand, ideal for graveside use during the holidays, is $30.

Order 30 or more plants for home, office, church or gift-giving use and take $2 off per plant. Members of the Friends of the Smoky Hill Museum receive a discount of $1 off per plant or wreath. Pick up your plants and wreaths on Saturday, December 1 before the Museum's Holiday Open House. Delivery to your home, office, church or a charitable recipient is just $15 per stop in the Salina metro area.

Financial support of the Smoky Hill Museum through the annual Poinsettia and Wreath sale helps provide educational programs and events that benefit many children and families.
