Christmas is Coming to the Museum

Celebrate the Christmas season at the free Holiday Open House, Saturday, December 10, from 1:00 – 4:00 pm at the Smoky Hill Museum. Bring the whole family for this free afternoon of fun! Pause a while to visit and hear holiday music played by Ann Zimmerman. Don’t miss the refreshments and all the things to see and do throughout the Museum. Stop by the dugout for a visit and photo opportunity with the prairie pioneer Santa. Try your hand at festive make and take crafts. Be sure to sign up for door prizes in the lobby and in the Museum Store. It’s music, munchies, merriment and more at the free Holiday Open House!

     The Smoky Hill Museum is a nationally accredited history museum, in the heart of downtown Salina, Kansas. This FREE museum is open Tuesday-Friday 12-6 and Saturday 10-5. Also, be sure to stop by the Museum Store for a wide variety of regional and Kansas products, local artwork and gifts for all ages.
