FRIDAY NIGHT LIVE SET FOR AUGUST 26
(Salina, KS 08-16) Salina Arts & Humanities, in collaboration with downtown stakeholders, announces the next Friday Night Live concert event on August 26. Friday Night Live is a series of arts and entertainment programming for Salina residents and visitors designed to increase attendance and participation in arts-related events and to strengthen partnerships with local business owners in the downtown arts district. Each week, a free-admission Friday Night Live concert will feature music and poetry in restaurants, bars, outdoor plazas and other venues.
This week’s Friday Night Live performance is The Clearview Band from Herington, KS. This group is a three-piece, rock ‘n’ roll band that plays classic rock, oldies, blues, country and some original tunes. The Clearview Band is a treat for all ages and a perfect way to enjoy a relaxing evening outdoors with family and friends.
The band’s show is from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at Campbell Plaza, 123 S. Santa Fe. Admission is free. Stay tuned for upcoming announcements about the Friday Night Live programming for September and October. For more information, call Stacy Ash at Salina Arts & Humanities at 785-309-5770.
