Celtic guitar player and singer Jerry Barlow will perform this Friday in the sixth and final installment of the 2015 Fall Art a la Carte concert series. An award-winning Celtic finger-style guitarist, Barlow brings the music of the British Isles alive through his unique and skillful repertoire that incorporates favorite traditional pieces as well as his Celtic-inspired original compositions.  Barlow’s expressive arrangements of lively jigs, spirited reels, and haunting airs are described as music to “soothe the soul, warm the heart and lift the spirit.”

Barlow’s performance is the last one of the fall Art al la Carte series on Friday, October 16th at 12:20 p.m. and takes place at Robert Caldwell Plaza near the City-County building. Patrons are encouraged to bring a sack lunch or buy a meal from Chapman’s Take Away food truck on-site. In case of inclement weather, the concert will be held at the Stiefel Theatre for the Performing Arts at 151 S. Santa Fe, on the scheduled time and date.
