Salina's E-waste Recycling Event
You're invited to join us for Salina's 16th Annual E-waste Recycling Event, proudly hosted by the City of Salina in partnership with TechRemove, LLC.
Date: Saturday, May 4th
Time: 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Location: Berkley Family Recreational Area (841 Markley Rd.)
Dispose of your outdated electronic devices responsibly at our event. Accepted items include computers, televisions, cameras, gaming systems, phones, and appliances. Recycling these items not only preserves valuable resources like aluminum, copper, gold, and silver but also prevents toxic materials such as mercury, lead, cadmium, and flame retardants from entering landfills.
This event welcomes Saline County residents, businesses, and organizations. While most items are accepted for free, there are fees for appliances containing Freon and certain types of monitors and TVs. Please refer to our flyer for a comprehensive list of accepted items and associated fees.
This year, we're excited to announce our collaboration with the Salina Food Bank. We'll be collecting donations of non-perishable food items and personal hygiene products for our community.
To participate, simply enter from the far south end of Markley Road near the water tower and follow the signs to the drop-off location. Please remain in your vehicle while our staff collect your e-waste and Food Bank donations.
For more information, feel free to reach out to the City of Salina’s Household Hazardous Waste Facility at (785) 826-6638 or [email protected]. Let's join hands to make a positive impact together!
