SALINA ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT INCENTIVES COUNCIL
The Salina Economic Development Incentives Council (SEDIC) reviews and develop guidelines and policies from the special quarter cent sales tax revenue and make recommendations to the City Commission, County Commission and/or local government bodies regarding other public economic development incentives.
The council consists of seven members (Mayor, Saline County Commission Chair, Salina Chamber of Commerce Board Chair, two citizens appointed by the Mayor, and one citizen appointed by the Saline County Commission). The Salina Economic Development Incentives Council meets quarterly or as needed for related projects, programs and funding applications.
