CONVENTION AND TOURISM ADVISORY COMMITTEE
The Convention and Tourism Advisory Committee serves in an advisory capacity to the Salina Area Chamber of Commerce for the purpose of making recommendations regarding use of funds derived from the Transient Guest Tax collected by the city. The purpose of this committee is to promote Salina, attempt to draw events and conventions, and to advise the City Commission on such related matters.
The Convention and Tourism Advisory Committee consists of ten members, each member serving a four year term. This committee meets the first Tuesday of each month at 7:30 a.m. at the Salina Area Chamber of Commerce Office, located at 120 W. Ash Street.
