BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NUMBER 1 BOARD OF ADVISORS
The Business Improvement District Number 1 (BID #1) Board of Advisors represents businesses and property owners within the Business Improvement District in order to develop an annual program of services and a recommended budget. In addition, the BID #1 Board of Advisors monitors and oversees the provisions of the services established for the business district, advises the City Commission, and promotes the downtown area. Members of the board also serve as the Board of Directors for Salina Downtown, Inc., a private not-for-profit organization which supplies to the district additional services funded by private donation.
The BID #1 Board of Advisors consists of 13 members, serving three-year terms. This board meets on the second Tuesday of each month, at 3:30 p.m. in the Salina Downtown, Inc. conference room located at 205 West Ash.
