TREE ADVISORY BOARD The Tree Advisory Board recommends policy on all matters concerning trees on public property to the Salina Parks and Recreation Advisory Board. The Board advisse the City staff on treescaping planting and other non-policy matters. The Board also promotes tree plantings, preservations and proper care to the citizens of Salina. This board consists of seven members who serve a four-year term. Members of this board are appointed by the Mayor with recommendations from the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board. The Tree Advisory Board meets the last Tuesday of alternating months at 11:30 a.m. at the Lakewood Discovery Center located at 250 Lakewood Drive.
