ACCESSIBILITY ADVISORY BOARD
The Accessibility Advisory Board duties are to advise and make recommendations to the City Commission on such matters related to accessibility, evaluate projects and activities (both public and private), to advise City of Salina staff on matters related to accessibility, provide technical assistance to the City on matters related to the disabled population, and serve as advocates for citizens with disability. They also serve as resources on policies and/or procedures for members of the City Commission and for City Staff, reviewing federal and state regulations and gudelines on accessibility and to report its findings to the appropriate City department, division or body.
The Accessibility Advisory Board meets as needed at 4:00 p.m. in Room 105 of the City-County Building located at 300 W. Ash Street.
