The Computer Technology Department is an internal service department that provides technical services for the city of Salina, and i5 server support for both the city of Salina and 
Saline County. The Computer Technology Department is staffed with seven employees. Support provided includes system management, user support, programming, PC installation and repair, training services, management of the city network and infrastructure, protecting city data from outside threats, disaster recovery, backup and storage of city data, developing and maintaining the city’s intranet and internet web sites, and planning for future technology needs.
Jack Rolfs serves as the Director of Computer Technology.
