Neighborhood Centers Rules

No smoking is allowed in any Neighborhood Center.

Reservations are for specific time periods only. When reservations are made, a beginning time and ending time are indicated. Your reservation should allow for all set up and clean up. Due to the number of requests, the Parks & Recreation Department does and will schedule other group reservations before or after your indicated time. Therefore, you may not enter the building early to set up or return later to clean up and remove personal items.

Users of the Neighborhood Centers are responsible for: - Setting up and taking down all tables and chairs;
- Cleaning up building during your requested reservation period;
- Taking garbage to outside dumpster; and
- Any and all damage that occurs from your use of the facility.
Failure to comply with the above rules will result in loss of your key deposit and may require additional payment for staff time and materials based on estimate or actual costs by Parks & Recreation Department.

ALL
alcoholic beverages, including 3.2 beer, are strictly prohibited.

Use of thumbtacks, masking tape, scotch tape, or other adhesives on painted surfaces is not permitted. Decorations, etc., are to be confined to the tables and windows only.

All temperature controls, thermostats, etc., in the building, including the refrigerator temperature dial, are to be left at their proper settings.

All doors shall be unlocked while building is in use (Carver Center only).

Make certain all lights inside the building are out and that all doors are secure before you leave the building.

If fire alarm goes off at Friendship Center, call the Fire Department, 785-826-7340, not the numbers listed below.
