Parks & Forestry
The Parks and Forestry Divisions are responsible for maintaining park grounds and landscaping in 25 City parks with over 600 acres in park land. These divisions also have maintenance responsibilities in downtown Salina and on other public grounds, including parkways and landscaped median strips. Over 60,000 flowers are planted annually in the parks system. A City tree nursery and cost share tree planting program for the community have also been developed. For more information on the wide range of amenities offered at our parks and facilities, please refer to the links below or contact the Parks & Forestry office at (785) 826-7275.
