Lakewood Discovery Center Grow!
We are excited to announce the introduction of the new Lakewood Discovery Center Friends Group, starting January 1, 2009. This is something that has been in the works a long time. And now we get to unveil this exciting opportunity, not only for the LDC, but for the citizens of Salina.
The Friends Group will have a couple of donation levels, with each level receiving discounts, special rates, and other benefits. The levels are as follows.
Meadowlark level: $25 entry level benefits: free LKWD “friends” t-shirt, 5% discount on merchandise, reduced prices on select programs, and special friends group appreciation activities
Meadowlark Family: $75 entry level benefits for direct family members designated, all members receive benefits listed above.
Blue Heron Level: $150 entry level benefits: all benefits included in the Meadowlark level, in addition to discounts on select programs and all trips.
Blue Heron Family: $250 entry level benefits for direct family members designated, all members receive benefits listed above
All donations received through the Friends Group will directly benefit the Lakewood Discovery Center. These funds will be used for building improvements, educational materials and programs. A detailed description of the levels, benefits, etc., as well as a sign-up form, will be included in the Newsletter.
