Proclamations The Mayor and the City Commission may recognize a certain day, week or month in the city of Salina in honor of any organization or cause. Proclamations must be submitted to the City Clerk's Office the Wednesday prior to the Monday City Commission meeting. The organization will need to provide the name and title of the person who will read the proclamation. After reading the proclamation, the person will have the opportunity to inform the City Commission and public of any extra activities they will be doing within the community in relation to the event.
